The Festival of Contemporary Urban Culture "The Architecture of Movement"

4 - 6 july, 2014, Yaroslavl


The festival is aimed at the development of city through creative initiatives, solidarity of citizens and cooperation of authorities, business and creative community.

That is the festival of ideas, its programme features artistic and social actions representing ideas on development, vision and critical views of a city and making it possible to develop a city as modern open territory.

The festival "The Architecture Movement" was held six times (2008-2013). Annually the theme and the format of the project is changing.

The project resulted in proposals and implementation of new mechanisms for the development of urban areas; extension of space and audience of cultural events; new ways of cooperation with commercial and non-profit sector; the creation of cultural products offering new images of a city.
